Those wondering how to organise their own personal break in the Floating Village – located, with the Ramsberg Marina in Pleinfeld, in the largest inland sailboat marina in Germany – are spoiled for choice. Jump from your own personal villa into the crystal clear water of Lake Brombach or enjoy the diverse cultural landscape with a total of seven accessible lakes – the possibilities are almost limitless.
Active types can go sailing, surfing, kiting, stand-up paddleboarding, diving or fishing right here at the resort, and it’s also possible to go climbing or visit the high ropes course. The area is also particularly attractive for cyclists – the “triathlon region” offers hundreds of kilometres of fantastic roads and cycle paths for every taste, and not just in the peak springtime cycling season.
In the autumn, especially, the Franconian Lake District turns into one of the most attractive hiking regions in Germany, with paths and trails for all levels of difficulty. What’s more, romantic rides by rickshaw, Segway tours, or a round of golf on one of the numerous courses in the area are also possible. This is also the right place though for all those who want to enjoy the diversity of the region or discover one of the numerous sights. Medieval Nuremberg, the baroque palace Ellingen Residence, the Vogelinsel nature trail – the region is perfect for day trips to one of the surrounding towns or the nearby Altmühltal.
The Floating Village offers its guests an exclusive SUP station, where the SUPs can be rented on a half-day basis.

Oliver Schmitt
Certified forest health trainer
Certified leader of ShinrinYoku forest therapy
Certified leader of meditations – mindfulness
Coach for soft skills and resilience
“ShinrinYoku forest bathing” was originally a Japanese stress management and relaxation method with a focus on health prevention.
A large number of serious scientific studies have proven positive effects on physical and mental health, such as:
By (re)activating all our senses in the world of the forest, we leave our tunnel of thoughts and simply enjoy being.
In addition to suggestions for mindfulness and uncomplicated meditation, Oliver provides additional exercises and information for increasing one’s “mental defences”.
For our ShinrinYoku forest bathing, Oliver Schmitt will lead you directly to the nearby forest, which is easy to reach from the peninsula near the Floating Village (access to our floating jetty). The meeting point is the village entrance to the jetty.
Duration: ca. 1,5 – 2 hours
Price: 39,- EUR / person
Minimum number of participants: 5
It will be helpful for you to arrange an appointment before your arrival so that you can better plan your precious time during your stay.
Please note:
If you cancel up to 3 days before your allotted date, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. In the event of cancellations less than three days before the agreed date, or in the event of a no-show, all booked and cancelled services must be paid for in full. Please make sure that you are dressed appropriately for the weather conditions and that you use sturdy shoes.
After bathing in the forest, it is absolutely wonderful to come back to your water villa, sink into the sofa there, for example, and continue to unwind without swiftly losing that relaxing effect.

Our water villa becomes your oasis of wellness and health in the midst of unspoilt nature on Lake Brombach. You therefore have the best conditions for regeneration available to you during your stay. Our individual Ayurvedic treatments increase well-being and quality of life and, at the same time, are an ideal addition for restoring mental balance.
Ayurveda, the Indian holistic doctrine of life, has set itself the goal of, firstly, keeping the healthy healthy and, secondly, bringing the sick to health. To achieve this, oil massages are given, among other things, for which highly effective oils are used, made according to special, ancient recipes. Using special massage techniques, the oil in question is applied to the skin, through which it is quickly absorbed, deep into the substance of the bone, allowing its beneficial effect to unfold. These massages with oils are called abhyanga.
According to Ayurveda, almost all abhyangas reduce “wind in the system”, or Vata. They bring deep calm and relaxation into the body. They regenerate the whole being, mobilise and remove waste products – “ama”. The organs are thus strengthened, the blood circulation is promoted and the muscles are loosened. This also has a positive influence on the immune system. Abhyanga also invigorates, firms and nourishes the skin.
Our Ayurveda team invites you to the Floating Village in order to immerse yourself there in a special kind of relaxation on water.
Treatment: | (AY01) Abhyanga full-body massage (Sanskrit for “anointment”) |
Duration: | 60 minutes |
Price: | EUR 144 |
Brief description: | Abhyanga means “the great anointment” or “oiling”. The abhyanga full-body massage is therefore an oil massage for the entire body that (on request) also includes the head, hair and face. |
Preparation: | Please have your sandals or slippers ready after the massage and sufficient shampoo and shower gel for the shower afterwards. We will take care of the equipment and materials as well as the set-up and the clearing away afterwards. |
Proces: | • These two abhyangas are partial-body massages, and you will receive a towel and sheet to partially cover you from us. • We start in a seated position, with a hot, revitalising foot bath in a rock salt solution. • In the meantime you will receive a relaxing head massage, either with or without oil, according to your wishes. • This is followed by a foot massage on the massage table. In the Ayurvedic philosophy, the feet are considered a reflection of the energies of the body. The padabhyanga • • massage therefore improves the blood circulation and the regeneration of the entire body and brings you all-round relaxation and well-being. • This massage includes a rest period of 15 minutes at the end. • After the massage, the oil on the head must be washed off thoroughly. The oil for the feet can remain on the skin. • After washing your hair, please allow yourself a further rest period of at least 30 minutes before you devote yourself to further activities. |

Treatment: | (AY04) Kundalini relaxation massage (Ayurvedic back massage) |
Duration: | 45 minutes |
Price: | EUR 120 |
Brief description: | Relaxing partial-body massage for the back and buttocks using oil According to the Ayurvedic philosophy, this massage brings energy from the pelvis to flow upwards along the spine. The muscle, bone and nerve tissues are strengthened. Physical and psychological blockages can also be resolved here. |
Preparation: | Please have your sandals or slippers ready after the massage and sufficient shampoo and shower gel for the shower afterwards. |
Process: | • The Kundalini relaxation massage is fundamentally a partial-body massage for the back. However, from an Ayurvedic point of view, the buttocks are also an important part of a back massage. As such, no clothes are worn for this massage, but we provide you with disposable panties/briefs, as well as a towel and sheet to partially cover yourself. • The Kundalini relaxation massage is carried out on the massage table with you lying on your front. • It includes a rest period of 10 minutes at the end. • The oil used can remain on the body, but can also be showered off if desired. |
Our advice
Please do not eat heavy meals for 2–3 hours before the massage; however, drink plenty of fluids. The bladder and bowel should be emptied at the beginning of the massage.
We only use precious Ayurveda oils, individually tailored to your personal constitution. In order to be able to offer you the oil for your message that is exactly right for your constitution, we ask you to please fill out our Ayurveda medical history form in advance, which you will receive by email from our reception when you make a binding booking, and to then send it back to us.
The massages will take place in your water villa. We will bring all the necessary equipment with us and set it up. In preparation for your Ayurveda massage, please ensure that the room temperature is comfortably warm. Take into account that your body can cool down over time as a result of the relaxation and the oil on your skin.
We ask you to please allow around a quarter of an hour for set-up and disassembly before and after your Ayurveda massage, as we will potentially need to clear space in the water villa or tidy up afterwards as well as set up and dismantle utensils. You should also potentially take time for a hot shower after your Ayurveda massage and then rest for at least 30–60 minutes, in both cases depending on the particular treatment.
It’s a good idea to arrange an appointment before your arrival so that you can better plan your precious time during your stay. You can also enquire about the treatments during your stay using your digital concierge, which is available in every water villa.
If you cancel up to 3 days before your treatment, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. In the event of cancellations less than three days before a treatment, or in the event of a no-show, all treatments must be paid for in full.
