Brombachsee Floating Village got off the ground with its first water villas in November 2018.
Each of our water villas has its own distinct flair. This is because the owners (investors) helped design the interiors with great attention to detail. Choose between four exclusive interior designs and variants, with or without a gas fireplace. The furnishings in the floating homes are designed and certified as four-star.
Brombachsee Floating Village was recognised by the German Tourism Association (DTV) in spring 2019 as the first and only 4-star holiday home park in Germany.
Each of the water villas is designed inside like a holiday home on land, but is located on the water and is firmly attached to the floating jetty. Storms and waves are easy to feel, which lends a maritime feeling. The water villas each have two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower, and a separate toilet. The living and dining room, with almost 22 square metres, offers comfortable space to relax. From the living area, you have access to the front terrace at the bow, which invites you to while away the time right on the water. A ladder leads from the rear terrace to the 25-square-metre roof terrace on the upper deck, which offers you a magnificent 360-degree panoramic view.
Here, you will find what gives your holiday home that special touch: your water villa is a secluded island and, at the same time, a safe haven. It is most certainly the answer to your deep yearning for freedom. The villas not only look out over the expanse of the water, but are a part of the maritime environment.
How you can expect to live …
Our water villas are holiday homes on a concrete float, built in accordance with the 2016 Energy Saving Ordinance. They combine the nostalgic charm of a houseboat with the latest technical requirements and modern design, right down to the last detail. The difference compared to a houseboat is that our water villas are firmly attached to a floating dock. Houseboats, on the other hand, can move around.
There is space for up to four people to have an amazing maritime family holiday here – comfortably and functionally equipped and close to nature in a unique and exposed setting on the water.
Thanks to a modern cooling and heating system, the approx. 67 m² of living space and usable floor space remain very cosily even in the colder months of the year. In summer especially, you can enjoy the sun, wind and water to the fullest outside on the 15m² front terrace or the 25m² roof terrace on the upper deck. You can walk around your holiday home on a peripheral area of seven square metres.
The water villas convey a feeling of space with an open living, dining and integrated cooking area. Two bedrooms with built-in wardrobes provide the necessary storage space. The tiled bathroom with a shower and washbasin and a separate toilet with a washbasin are comfortable. Three enclosed interior rooms and two terraces offer plenty of privacy on board, even if there are four of you. 24 dimmable LED spots in the ceiling provide perfect lighting conditions day and night.
The house is heated with a cooling and heating system with three indoor units and an electric towel radiator in the bathroom. This modern system can both heat and cool. The house is, therefore, always kept at the right temperature automatically. Each room is controlled separately via a hand-held transmitter. This can be individually programmed and adapted to your needs. In addition, air flow in the room can be individually adjusted. The outdoor unit of the cooling and heating system is located behind the deck stairs. The toilet is heated by an electric radiator that is equipped with a thermostat and an antifreeze function. Hot water is provided by an electrically heated hot water boiler in the utility room. In 17 of the 19 water villas, a separate gas fireplace guarantees extra cosiness. When making your booking, pay attention to the description, location and furnishing options of the individual water villas.
The safety equipment consists of two fire extinguishers, three smoke detectors and a life belt.

Since all of our water villas have been configured for four-star certification with respect to their features and fittings, the Floating Village was certified by the DTV (German Tourism Association) with 4 stars for holiday homes in spring 2019. The Floating Village is therefore the first and only 4 stars floating holiday home park in Germany!

Front and roof terrace
Sun and water at close quarters
All categories include a 15 m² front terrace and a 25 m² roof terrace on the upper deck. The furniture consists of a table with four chairs, two garden loungers with a sun canopy, a side table and a parasol with a solid granite base. The loungers and table surfaces match the design concept of the particular living category. The roof terraces are also equipped with lounge furniture and an awning.
Large sliding doors in the living room seamlessly connect the interior and exterior. What could be nicer than to start the day with breakfast right next to the water, especially in summer? Afterwards, the upper deck is ideal for some undisturbed sunbathing. From the lower terrace, you can enter the water via a ladder to cool down. Whether above or below deck, in the evening, you can enjoy the tranquillity with a sundowner and a spell-binding sunset. Though it is also worth spending time on the upper deck during other times of the year. since here you’ll get a magnificent 360-degree panoramic view and can enjoy the blowing of the wind.
