The 4-star Brombachsee Floating Village (as classified by the German Tourism Association) offers the perfect opportunity to sit down with employees, colleagues, customers or business partners in order to, for example, define milestones for a collaboration or work out an annual plan, while also enjoying a relaxing time. Here, you can enjoy a unique location that offers a great deal of comfort and which inspires and releases creative potential.
In the Ramsberg Marina near Pleinfeld, the largest inland sailboat marina in Germany, 19 sustainable and modern water villas have been built to meet your requirements. The Floating Village at Lake Brombach is open to its guests 365 days a year. It is even comfortable on Lake Brombach in the cold season, because all but two of the water villas are equipped with a gas fireplace.
Each of the 19 water villas contains two double rooms, and there is the possibility of holding team meetings with up to 10 people. The trimaran “MS Brombachsee” and the Ellingen Residence can be used as locations for larger conferences. Business coaches, hosts or speakers can be organised.
Eating and cooking together is a wonderful experience that brings a team closer together. For this, we offer you different selections of food and drinks depending on the occasion, to be consumed in your water villa. Of course, we also offer catering – served, for example, on the front or roof terrace. Our Grill & Chill pitmaster can prepare, for example, grilled fish on a stick, as well as meat or vegetarian dishes for you directly on the jetty. To get the day off to a good start, we will deliver an abundant breakfast to you by boat in a vintage box in the morning.
The well thought-out service concept of the cordial Eco Lodges team offers much more than just meetings on water and accommodation and meals.
There are 19 water villas available with 38 double rooms and 76 beds. You can either stay in the homes on a single-occupancy basis, share a villa with 2 double rooms and a bathroom, or occupy each of the four beds.
There is also the possibility of using an entire water villa for your catering function or your event.

Resilience is the art of dealing well not only with the pressure of daily work, but also with crises. Resilient people can process life’s challenges much better and turn them into something good for their own benefit.
Conflicts are part of everyday life: without differences of opinion there would only be stagnation. To prevent conflicts from escalating, you need a good way of dealing with them. Constructive solutions are required. The goal is not to win the dispute, but to arouse mutual understanding and find meaningful compromises through good communication.
In addition to a high degree of external pressure to perform, there is also the pressure that we put ourselves under. Both of these together can make stress levels so high that health, relationships and one’s enjoyment of life threaten to fall by the wayside. We have to take very good care of ourselves to prevent this from happening.
Creativity is important: the pressure to bring new products and services to market in order to successfully establish yourself as a company is constantly growing. Particularly in unsteady times, there is an increasing need for innovative solutions – also in order to react within the company to the pressure to change.
Groups that want to work well together long term need to make regular “pit stops” – time out together in order to reflect on and optimise the goals and the quality of the collaboration. George Pennington offers one such pit stop in the Floating Village.

Coach for soft skills and resilience
“ShinrinYoku forest bathing” was originally a Japanese stress management and relaxation method with a focus on health prevention.
A large number of serious scientific studies have proven positive effects on physical and mental health, such as:
By (re)activating all our senses in the world of the forest, we leave our tunnel of thoughts and simply enjoy being.
In addition to suggestions for mindfulness and uncomplicated meditation, Oliver provides additional exercises and information for increasing one’s “mental defences”.
For our ShinrinYoku forest bathing, Oliver Schmitt will lead you directly to the nearby forest, which is easy to reach from the peninsula near the Floating Village (access to our floating jetty). The meeting point is the village entrance to the jetty.
Duration: ca. 1,5 – 2 hours
Price: 39,- EUR / person
Minimum number of participants: 5
It will be helpful for you to arrange an appointment before your arrival so that you can better plan your precious time during your stay.
Please note:

Duration, including briefing: approx. 2 hours (depending on the speed) – driving distance: approx. 22 kilometres
After a detailed theoretical and practical briefing, we start at Pfofeld village square and head off in the direction of Theilenhofen.
On the way, we pass the enigmatic ruins of the Chapel of the Holy Cross, which was probably built in the 14th century and which served as a medieval pilgrimage church due to legends about a healing well and a miracle cross. After a short stop, the route continues in the direction of Theilenhofen, to the excavated Roman baths and the Roman fort “Iciniacum”.
The first Romans settled here in as early as 70 AD, during the occupation of the regions north of the Danube around Gunzenhausen and Theilenhofen. The latest research findings, using geomagnetic prospection, have revealed the floor plan of a Gallo-Roman theatre. From the Roman baths, we head for some of the information boards set up by the municipality in 2008 in order to then examine the course of the limes from a viewing platform. The limes watchtowers mostly had direct eye contact with the fort. Our route leads us to the remains of a Roman limes watchtower, from which you get a spectacular view of the landscape. From the watchtower, we then head along the limes towards Lake Brombach, which we can look down on from a vantage point. From there, we return to our starting point.
A communal stop at the Franconian Kleemann Tavern rounds off our Limes Tour.
We will, of course, make stops for photos during the tour. If you like, we will be happy to send you the pictures that are taken by email or CD.
Please note! Due to unforeseeable circumstances, the tour route and its duration may vary.
Price per person: 139,00 EUR
6 people or more: 119,00 EUR (per person)
Min. 4 participants per tour, max. 8 participants per tour
