In our Floating Village, we offer various additional services. Enjoy our breakfast service, for example, where you will receive your breakfast delivered directly to your floating house. We also bring you snacks and drinks. Treat yourself to a glass of wine inside in your villa or on the sundeck. Enjoy the changing colours of the sunset on your terrace and treat yourself to a sundowner for a relaxed end to the day.
Enjoy the Franconian way
In addition, you will love the culinary diversity of Franconia and the friendliness of its people. From hearty snacks to star cuisine: the region offers gastronomy for every taste, even for discerning palates. The beer country of Franconia boasts a wide range of different beer varieties, with home-brewed specialities. The Ellingen Residence, with a brewery, restaurant and beer garden, is nearby. However, those who prefer to enjoy their dinner “at home” on their very own terrace can organise a romantic evening at the water villa.

Breakfast on the lake
We ask that you please bear in mind the following points when ordering breakfast:
- Breakfast boxes must be ordered by 4:00 p.m. the day before delivery.
- Rolls are usually fetched fresh in the morning (except on public holidays, when the bakeries are closed), put together with the products for the breakfast box, and brought to your water villa.
- You should receive your delivery between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
- Breakfast will be delivered to you in a sturdy, flamed wooden box in a “vintage style”, with rope handles and leather fittings. We will pick these up again during the course of the day.
- For hygiene, weather-related and logistical reasons, we try to only provide you with packaged food. However, if you receive unpackaged fruit or vegetables, we ask you to please wash them before consumption.
Since we have organised a waste separation system for the Floating Village on the water, we ask you to please dispose of the waste in the containers provided in the floating home or on the jetty!

We ask for your understanding that delays in delivery can occur due to periods of intense activity and distances by land and water in the Floating Village. Please coordinate with our reception. We ask that you do not use our emergency number for orders!
Delivery usually takes place within a few hours. If you are not on site at this time, our staff will place your products on your kitchen counter or in your fridge. If your reserves are running low at short notice, you can also receive your order directly at reception by prior arrangement.

The story of FÜRST CARL (Prince Carl) began on 24th May 1815. Field Marshal Carl Philipp, Prince von Wrede (1767 Heidelberg – 1838 Ellingen), received the palace of Ellingen, a palace of the Teutonic Order, from King Maximilian I Joseph of Bavaria as a royal and male fief from the crown. Out of respect and admiration for the brave, passionate field marshal, every firstborn male of the princely von Wrede family has since been given Carl as a first name.
Today, the company Fürst von Wrede GmbH & Co. Unternehmens KG is in the hands of the sixth and seventh generation: his Serene Highness Carl Friedrich, Prince von Wrede, His Princely Grace Carl Christian, Prince von Wrede, and Her Princely Grace Katalin, Princess von Wrede.

Wir bitten um Verständnis, dass es bedingt durch den Hochbetrieb und Wegstrecken zu Land und zu Wasser im Floating Village zu Verzögerungen bei der Lieferung kommen kann. Bitte stimmen Sie sich mit unserer Rezeption ab. Unsere aus-gelegte Notrufnummer bitten wir nicht für Bestellungen zu verwenden!
Die Lieferung erfolgt in der Regel innerhalb weniger Stunden. Sollten Sie zu dieser Zeit nicht vor Ort sein, werden Ihre Produkte von unserem Personal auf Ihre Küchenzeile oder in Ihren Kühlschrank/Gefrierfach gelegt. Sollten sich Ihre Reserven kurzfristig dem Ende zuneigen, können Sie Ihre Bestellung nach vorheriger Absprache auch direkt an der Rezeption in Empfang nehmen.

Bewusst haben wir uns Winzer ausgewählt, die dieses Thema leben – wie wir. Von unserem Sommelier, mit dem wir eine Weinauswahl zusammengestellt haben, wurden wir auf das Label „Fair‘n Green“ auf-merksam gemacht, mit welchem einige Weine unserer Auswahl zertifiziert worden sind.
Was ist Fair‘n Green?

In der Nase spielt frühlingsfrische Holunderblüte mit tropischer Frucht. Besonders offenbart sich eine reife Ananas und eine leicht würzige Note. Am Gaumen dann ab dem ersten Schluck wunderbar leichtfüßig und erfrischend. Ein kleines bisschen Restsüße gibt dem Wein den letzten Kick schöner Süffigkeit.
Die Rebsorte Zibibbo ist identisch mit der Rebsorte Muscat d´Alexandrie. Dem entsprechend ist dann die Ähnlichkeit zu unserem deutschen Muskateller. Ein hervorragender Bio Wein der sich zu jeder Jahreszeit, solo oder mit Essen, wunderbar trinken lässt und uns seit dem ersten Schluck immer wieder begeistert.

ist das Motto dieses Cabernet Sauvignon und er überzeugt auch geschmacklich auf ganzer Linie! Die typischen Cabernet Sauvignon Aromen von schwarzer Johannisbeere und reifen Kirschen, finden sich hier ebenso wie eine aufregende Pfeffernote und feine Holzaromen. Ein vielschichtiger Wein, der sich nach ein paar Minuten im Glas erst so richtig schön entwickelt und präsentiert.

Il Bacca Primitivo di manduria doc – 36,00 EUR

Die Trauben für diesen opulenten Rotwein stammen aus ausgesuchten Weinbergen, welche sich im Herzen des Primitivo di Manduria-Gebietes befinden. Mit Unterstützung des international anerkannten Önologen Filippo Baccalaro hat das Familienunternehmen Luccarelli einen modernen, üppigen und kraftvollen Primitivo geschaffen, der jedoch nicht plump wirkt und sehr komplexe Aromen aufweist.
Der Il Bacca (vormals Folle aus umg.spr. “verrückt”) aus Manduria wird aus 60 bis 90 Jahre alten Reben vinifiziert, die Trauben werden dabei erst geerntet, wenn diese schon leicht rosinert sind. Nach der Gärung lagerte der Wein für rund 12 Monate in französischen Barriques. Dies gibt dem Primitivo die unglaubliche Fülle und Konzentration. In der Farbe ein intensives Rubinrot mit einem komplexen und fruchtigen Bouquet nach Kirsch- und Pflaumenkonfitüre, aromatischen Gewürzen und Schokoladenduft. Am Gaumen ist der Folle Primitivo weich und vollmundig mit feinen Beeren-, Vanille- und Röstnoten von Kaffee und Kakao.

Whether on New Year’s Eve, for a birthday party, on other special occasions or during the cosy time of year: our raclette is always well received, is sociable and convivial, and requires relatively little preparation. Eco Lodges will provide you with a raclette and accessories, and we will provide you with all the delicacies (e.g., raclette cheese, meat, vegetables, etc.), which will then be brought to your water villa. We ask you to prepare the ingredients we provide, such as vegetables, cheese or meat, according to your taste and to drape your table according to your taste.
Your raclette oven will then await you in the centre along with the paddles, which are topped with vegetables, cheese, etc., and then baked. On the upper grill, you can fry the meat or vegetables at the same time before bringing everything together on your plate. The nice thing about raclette is that there are no limits to your imagination. Countless possible combinations can be tried out in the paddles. Different types of meat ensure culinary variety on the table. If you are planning a raclette evening with us, you should not only think about the food, but also about the right wine.
